This backboard and rim comes with a 48in shatter proof backboard of Makrolon polycarbonate that is virtually unbreakable, and a solid steel Slam-It Rim with double-compression springs for spring-back action. It is made of UV-protected, weather-resistant materials to withstand outdoor elements and prevent rusting, cracking, peeling, and yellowing. Use our Lifetime Universal Mounting Kit to mount backboard and rim to a wall, roof, or existing 3.5in pole. Four adjustable height, use our Quick Adjust Conversion Kit to mount it to a wall or a 3.5 inch pole. The backboard is steel framed with a polycarbonate playing surface, and can be mounted on a roof, existing pole, or wall with the Lifetime Universal Mounting Kit (sold separately).
