The Maker’s Loft is a next-generation two-story garage kit designed for homeowners seeking flexibility, durability, and style in their backyard. Constructed like a traditional home with a 16" on-center 2x6 truss system, it delivers exceptional structural strength and versatile space for a wide range of uses. The first floor features a spacious single-car garage with an 8' W x 6'6" H door opening (garage door not included), suitable for most small SUVs and trucks. On the opposite side, the first floor offers a flexible area that can be used as a workshop, home office, storage space, or to house recreational vehicles such as motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, small tractors, or riding lawn mowers.

The full second-story loft, complete with an included staircase, adds extra functionality, offering abundant storage or the potential to create a comfortable livable space. The first floor remains mostly open, with the staircase positioned at the rear to maintain layout flexibility. Both floors provide generous headroom 7.5' on the first floor and over 7'1" at the loft center with optional insulation for year-round use as a cabin, office, or workshop. SIDING

OPTIONAL SIDE DOOR ENTRY

You can add an optional side entry door for convenient access! Select either a six-panel or nine-window steel door, both of which come with an aluminum threshold and lock set. When ordering, please specify which side you’d like the hinges on so we can provide the correct door. The door swings inward into the storage building.

What's the difference between our Best Barns brand marked 'ALL Pre-Cut' and the regular Best Barns brand, they look similar? The Best Barns ALL Pre-Cut sheds and regular Best Barns sheds are both made by Reynolds Building Systems at their state of the art factory in Northwest Pennsylvania. The regular Best Barns brand, not marked ALL Pre-Cut, offers you added savings for just an extra 2 or 3 hours of installation time. With a regular Best Barn you will get two deliveries; one will be your shed kit and a second delivery will be the siding, roof sheathing and loft (if included in the kit) which will be delivered separately from your local home center. Home Depot will be the home center we use if one is in your area. The customer will then follow the simple instructions to make just straight cuts to prepare these items. The regular Best Barn shed makes it inexpensive and easy!
