This 50 inch shatter proof, easy-to-lift basketball backboard features our Action Grip counter-balance spring mechanism. Simply squeeze the handle and you can adjust the height of this backboard from 7.5 to 10 ft. — No sweat! This easy-to-lift basketball backboard is constructed of shatter proof Makrolon® polycarbonate, making it many times stronger than acrylic. The solid steel structure is powder-coated to resist rusting and cracking. And, of course, an in-ground basketball system offers the ultimate stability and rigidity. Major components made in the USA. Covered by a lifetime limited warranty in US and Canada (doesn't cover backboard).

We suggest using a Ground Sleeve to make installation easier and to allow for relocation of your in-ground basketball hoop at a later date if necessary.

Adjustment Mechanism
The Action Grip® easily adjusts with just one hand, bringing the game to your level. The counter-balance springs do most of the work for you, adjusting the rim height from 7.5 to 10 feet.
Backboard
The Shatterproof polycarbonate playing surface gives you the look and play of pro-style glass. Graphics are screen-printed with UV-protected inks for superior color and protection against the elements.
Frame
Lifetime's pro-styled steel frame gives you the look, the feel and the power of the professional game! The frame is powder-coated with a rust-resistant finish to withstand the harshest elements.
Pole
Our round steel poles feature a patented friction-weld joint that safeguards against unwanted movement. All Lifetime steel poles are protected with a powder-coated, weather-resistant finish.

This heavy-duty classically-styled rim is built to take a slam®! The Slam-It® Rim features double-compression springs providing spring-back action and an all-weather nylon net.
